Guided by Compassion.
Grounded in Evidence.
Lighthouse Mental Health Clinic was founded on the belief that everyone deserves professional, compassionate mental health care, regardless of background, language, or circumstance.
The Lighthouse Story
Named after the enduring symbol of guidance through darkness, Lighthouse Mental Health Clinic exists to help clients find clarity, healing, and lasting well-being, even in their most challenging moments.
We provide a warm, confidential space where individuals, couples, families, and groups can explore what is holding them back, develop meaningful coping strategies, and move toward the lives they deserve. Our work is grounded in respect for each person's unique story, culture, and pace of growth.
Located in Toronto's vibrant community, we serve clients in-person and virtually across Ontario.
Safety First
Every session begins with establishing a foundation of trust, confidentiality, and non-judgment.
Evidence-Based
We use approaches that are supported by research and proven to produce meaningful, lasting change.
Culturally Responsive
We honour the role that culture, identity, and language play in shaping each person's experience.

Therapy Without Language Barriers
Toronto is one of the world's most diverse cities, and mental health care should reflect that. Karimi conducts sessions in English, Persian (Farsi), and Kurdish, ensuring that clients can express themselves fully in the language that feels most natural and safe.
Beyond language, Karimi brings a deep awareness of how culture, family systems, religion, and migration experiences can shape mental health. He approaches each client's background with respect and curiosity, never assumption.
