Yusef Karimi, PhD
Yusef Karimi is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and brings over 10 years of experience in providing evidence-based psychotherapy to a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and couples. His primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but he also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based approaches to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. Yusef is highly skilled in treating anxiety disorders (such as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and social anxiety), mood disorders (including depression), and trauma-related disorders (such as PTSD). He also works extensively with individuals facing relationship issues, self-esteem challenges, and work-related stress.
